Are they underperformers?
Now i know that my best midfielder does have good experience. before the experience change he was avg 3 stars, so it wasnt much of a jump. And most of my other players have similiar secondaries, so Im just not sure why they dont perform as well as I think they should. Maybe my expectations of a 3 star middie are a bit lower than in reality.
here is what I have 30 years, passable form, healthy A pleasant guy who is balanced and honest. Has weak experience and inadequate leadership abilities. Speciality: Head Nationality: USA Assessed value: 128 000 US$ Wage: 1 330 US$/week Owner: Oklahoma City Rednecks Warnings: 0 Stamina: excellent Goaltending: wretched Playmaking: excellent Passing: weak Winger: wretched Defending: weak Scoring: poor Set Pieces: wretched Career Goals: 27 Career Hattricks: 1 League goals this season: 3 Cup goals this season: 1 Low Excellent playmaking Avg of 3.5 stars. Maximilian Forslind (10824627) 18 years, inadequate form, healthy A popular guy who is calm and dishonest. Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities. Speciality: Head Nationality: Sverige Assessed value: 49 000 US$ Wage: 732 US$/week including 20% Bonus Owner: Oklahoma City Rednecks Warnings: 0 Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: solid Passing: poor Winger: poor Defending: poor Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: inadequate Career Goals: 3 Career Hattricks: 0 League goals this season: 1 Cup goals this season: 0 2 stars avg. getting closer to bumping. Tommy Lee Elias (11744093) 19 years, inadequate form, healthy A controversial person who is calm and dishonest. Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities. Nationality: USA Assessed value: 137 000 US$ Wage: 860 US$/week Owner: Oklahoma City Rednecks Warnings: 0 Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: solid Passing: passable Winger: wretched Defending: poor Scoring: poor Set Pieces: passable Career Goals: 1 Career Hattricks: 0 League goals this season: 1 Cup goals this season: 0 2.5 stars average. Getting close to bumping And finally Benedito Bolonha (7765599) 19 years, solid form, healthy A controversial person who is balanced and honest. Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities. Nationality: Brasil Assessed value: 132 000 US$ Wage: 972 US$/week including 20% Bonus Owner: Oklahoma City Rednecks Warnings: 0 Stamina: solid Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: solid Passing: poor Winger: wretched Defending: weak Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: inadequate Career Goals: 3 Career Hattricks: 0 League goals this season: 0 Cup goals this season: 0 Avg 2.5 stars Getting close to bumping

Training general should bump up star rating, but not by much. 1/2 to 1 star probably.

Experience aside, your 30 year old midfielder has the appropriate level of stamina for an inner midfielder. Forslind, Elias and Bolonha all have mediocre stamina for an inner midfielder. You should be able to get at least a 1/2-star bump once you get their stamina up to par. You should be able to wring out another 1/2-star by playing them offensive (or defensive), ESPECIALLY Elias with his passing. I'd put him on the same side as your best winger to maximize your attack on that wing.

Stamina, Stamina, Stamina
Your younger guys with passable stamina would gain 1/2 star with excellent stamina, maybe a liitle more. Train 1 week of stamina and you'll be shocked at the improvement. I had the same problem 4 weeks ago. Then i got all my 3 starters up to solid stamina from passable. I saw a huge improvment in my midfield rating and stars.

yes, and most of the players have been played other than normal, but I havent seen a change in their stars. I will look more closely though. Im not really that worried, since its the end of the season, and I have no chance to promote. I plan to train stamina for 2 weeks in the offseason.

I'd concur with the others - those star ratings seem right to me. Stamina training should do the trick.
