The 'Rate My Buy' Game

just went out and broke my team's transfer fee record. So i guess this is a little bragging and a little of me wondering how much i over-paid. He cost me 598k

Fredrik Nyhing (1661740)
24 years, passable form, healthy
A pleasant guy who is balanced and infamous.
Has weak experience and poor leadership abilities.

Speciality: Head

Nationality: Sverige
Assessed value: 190 000 US$
Wage: 1 800 US$/week including 20% Bonus
Owner: S. Boston Hooligans
Warnings: 1

Stamina: excellent Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: poor
Winger: passable Defending: excellent
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: weak

i'll be playing him as a wingback obviously. He will help out my defense a whole ton. How much will the excellent stamina help him as a wing back? And does 'head' do much (or anything) for a wing back?

EDIT: forgot to mention how much i paid (598k)

I don't think you overpaid. nice buy. excellent stamina means NO 'Nyhing seemed a little sluggish' or 'Joe Blow ran right by the sluggish Nyhing' events.

Head means the same for any position. better chance they'll knock on in with their head. Don't have to be a corner kick but that's where most come from.

good buy

I think its an OK buy, I was able to sell a 19 year old passable / excellent wingback a few weeks back for $750k so I don't think you overpaid, but its not exactly a steal...also the weak experience is kinda nice, that should help him preform a little better than most passable /excellent wingbacks.

well he put up 3 stars as a normal wingback in my international friendly today. I'll try him on defensive in my league match this week and see what he does.

I'd say average buy.... 600k sounds about right for a excellent/passable.

Im very torn on what to do when i buy my next wingback. Buy a excellent/passable for 600k and slightly increase defense and wing attack. Or buy a excellent defender with no secondarys for 400k and really improve my defensive rating by playing him defensive.

You have to ask yourself, is the extra 200k worth slightly less defense (because your playing him normal instead of defensive) and 1 level of wing attack?? Tough call, if i had a defensive coach i'd probally do what you did. But with my offensive coach playing wingbacks defensive seems like the better idea.... and cheaper to

P.S. somehow this turned into a 2 paragraph response
