Survivor FOFC: Finally, another challenge

It has been a while but it is finally time for another challenge
As you recall, there are now three teams. this means that there will now be two tribal councils, the one team who does best wilol win imunity, the other two will each have thier own vote.

Here is the game. You must look at this week's football games and pick an underdog to win.

If your team wins you will earn 10 points, plus a bonus of however many points the spread was. So, if you were to pick Houston to win over the Titans, and they win, you would get ten points for the win, and an additonal 10 points because Tennesse is favored to win by ten.

But if the team you pick loses, you get 0.

The team with the highest total score wins immunity.

You have until Friday to post your pick.

Me, Jeeber, and Eaglefan all picking together, the three of use ranked #7, #1, and #3 respectivally in the Pick A Loser Contest, with only one missed pick between the three of us (sorry guys). Obviously not the same thing, but it shows we have the skills.

Go immunity! Hey, I could actually get it this time.

Yeah, but it's a lot easier to pick a loser (unless you're TLK )than pick an underdog winner.

Let me go find some lines...

Just try and pick a favorite to lose then. It's all in how you view it (read, I can't have my tribe loose again).

Well, you guys were kicking the shit out of us before the redistricting. I just think it's a miracle not only that I wasn't voted off, it never seemed that I was that close to being removed.

Welcome back stkelly52, how are things?

Team unity JeeberD, we can't be picking against each other's teams.

Go figure, I'm doing very well in the Season Prediction thread that was well before the season started, doing very well in the Loser thread but doing lousy in the Season Challenge (not sure what happens to me once point spreads are shown).

Just a little clarification for you guys, I noticed that some have sent me picks and titled the challenge the NFL challenge. I do want to clarify that the teams do not need to be NFL. If you would like to pick a college game you may do that as well.

If you would like to change your pick, you may do so anytime today (unless you are picking one of today's college games).

Also, I will be using the Stardust line as the official line for all scoring. The link is the one that mckerney posted above.

Here is another reminder, you may only pick underdogs. If the team you pick is favored to win you pick will be void.

stkelly: that seems a bit unfair.

If someone picks a favorite I think they should have their pick be (-) the value of the biggest dog anyone picks.

Time to find out the winner

Mr. Bug picked Buffalo trying to pick up the big 47 points, but Buffalo was crushed by Miami of Ohio.

illinifan999 picked the 49ers to pull of an upset against Seattle, but the Seahawks came through with the late fumble recovery that sealed their win and Illini's defeat.

RPI-Fan also hoped that the 49ers would top the Seahawks, and, because he made the foolish mistake of betting against my team, he goes home with nothing.

cubboyroy1826 picked Miami to top FSU hoping to pick up the 7 bonus points. Miami held on for the 22-14 victory giving cubboy 17 points

Vpi97 picked Georgia Tech over Wake Forest. Georgia Tech dominated this one 24-7, giving VPI 14.5 points.

Digamma followed VPI's lead (actually I guess that VPI followed Diggama, because VPI cast his vote later) picking Georgia Tech to win. He is also granted 14.5 points.

TheLionKing picked the Raiders to top the Browns. The Raiders collapse continued this week as they played a miserable game, including 19 penalties for 128 yards. Browns won 13-7.

EagleFan also thought that the Raders would win...EagleFan also get 0 points.

Radii picked the Chiefs to top that Packers. It looked like Radii would get nothing, but the Cheifs refused to give up and pulled of the late comeback to win the game in OT. Radii recieves 12 points.

Jeeber D also felt that the Chiefs would be able to pull off the win. He too receives 12 points.

Swaggs Felt that Carolina would be the ones to win the battle-of-the-unbeatens. It was a close game that had to go into OT, but the Panthers pulled it off. As they were 5.5 point underdogs, Swaggs adds 15.5 points to his team.

And mckerney rounds us out, picking up 15.5 points for successfully picking the Panthers to win against the Colts.

So the final scores are

MrBug708 0
Digamma 14.5
Swaggs 15.5
RPI-Fan 0
Total 30

JeeberD 12
Eaglefan 0
The Lion King 0
mckerney 15.5
Total 27.5

illinifan999 0
VPI97 14.5
Radii 12
cubboyroy1826 17
Total 43.5

The tribes don’t really have names anymore, but Illinifan, VPI, cubboyroy and Radii’s tribe has immunity. The others are going to tribal council. (Note there are two separate tribal councils, one for each tribe.
