A plea to the HB-twins

Take this for what it's worth, but could one of the Honolulu Blues change their name? It would obviously make sense for the latest HB to switch, but it is very confusing. You know us dumb conservatives can't think beyond beating up poor folks.

I'd suggest one of them changing their name to BoneGravel.

I didn't know a name change was possible. Is it possible?

Where does the confusion lie exactly? I assume that whenever you see the words Honolulu and Blue within proximity of one another (with or without the underscore), you are immediately drawn to thread. It means that either me or my good twin have posted or it's about the beloved Detroit Football Lions. What more could you ask from a thread?

I guess we just need to think of the underscore as a puck....so we have H "puck" Blue, and H Blue.

OOOORRRRR, we could have help from the SD/Ryan/Shorty. Change their titles to something that can easily distinguish them.

I've thought about changing my screen name, more than once, and once again just now. I'll decline for now. I didn't pick this name to spoof or disrespect my evil twin in any way, and it's obvious we're two different people. Also, we rarely post in the same thread.

There are several ways to tell the difference between us:

* If it's in the dynasty thread, you can be 100% sure it's me. My evil twin, as far as I know, has never posted there.

* If it's about hockey, it's almost surely my evil twin.

* If it's 20 questions about some obscure baseball player, it's me.

* If it seems overly positive about that school from Ann Arbor, it's my evil twin. Being an MSU alum, it pains me to praise them for ANYTHING, though at times it's unavoidable.

* If it shows frustration and/or confusion about Championship Manager, that's me.

* If it shows lots of praise and/or respect for Championship Manager, that would be my evil twin.

Now that you know how to tell us apart, I think I'll change my name to Quicksand. Or Skydawg. Or Primelass. Or Buckaneer. Or Hell South...

HB, I agree with you 100% on each of those distinctions. It seems the common bond between us is our love for the Detroit Lions (which, ironically enough, is the source of the Killer Beesesque "Mask Confusion" thing we've got going on here).

While on the Lions, man, how sad. How very, very sad. That's all I have left for them is sadness. Heart ache. How they lose. The inuries. All of it. It makes me sad and unhappy.

I've said it before, the underscore is the way forward, scoop. It's tres chic. It's all the rage here in Europe and is sure to be heading across the Atlantic in no_time!

I may be wrong, but Skydog can facilitate a change as Buccaneer can attest.

The list of differences definitely helps, but not as much as unique name would. The two of you seem to have a gracious system worked out and neither of you seem to have any issue whatsoever. Instead of keeping track of who said what, etc., I will just think of HB as a set of conjoined twins that will understand if posts refer to their other half.

I don't think that's really a change, I think that's just abandoning a handle, picking a new one, and then going back to the old one while running up huge post totals on both

I missed that other thread about us, otherwise I would have posted there. It seems to be too late now; the only thing I have to add is that I've only visited foreign countries and never lived in one.

It helps that we both get along well and we have distinctly different interests (other than the Lions). Unbelievably, I've never been confused with my evil twin, though I suppose there's a first time for anything. I promise not to take offense to it when and if it happens.

Or

Ryan S, SkyDog, or I could all change anyones name, but in Bucc's case it is just that he went back to his old name (thus 2 accounts).

Maybe a custom title is in order.
