Gotta love when this happens.

Picked up a 17 year old passable playmaker, decent secondaries, for 62k a couple days ago. I knew he was high passable, I figured he had a couple weeks to go.

He popped to solid this training update. Talk about a steal. Whoo!

Is anyone else's HAM working?

I had a 20 yo defender pop to formidable & an 18 yo to excellent, but I'm not sure if the update is done or not since 5 players have the same value as last week, and 3 aren't in excellent form.

I guess this is the de facto training thread, so here goes:

form: +5/-3 (best defender dropped 2 levels).

experience: +1 (wretched to poor)

PM: 19 year old solid -> excellent. I just got him off the youth squad saturday. Has passable passing, but wretched stamina. May be on the second team until I can improve the stamina a lot.

So I get a good PM pop. My best defender drops 2 levels of form. My D-mid is hurt (best player). My 2nd best defender has a red card. I play the top team in the league this week. Hattrick hates me.

Form: -2 overall (+5/-7)

Value: +$33,000 (+78/-45)

Playmaking: 26yo Starter who's been with the team since day one just popped to formidable. Completely out of nowhere, since it seemed just like yesterday he just popped to excellent. Other than that, nada.

As far as other training goes.

PINTO! popped to Formidable PM.
Kenneth Loven (striker) popped to inadequate PM.

+4/-2 form, 1 starter down in form, 3 up.

Note that the HT team changed the text encoding on the HRF file, so if you have anybody with a non-standard character in their name, you'll probably see it come out funny in your favorite management program.

My team form is heading to the dumper.

Two IM's popped to excellent. My 32 YO who has excellent stamina is now excellent PM, and a 20 YO popped to excellent.

Yay.

You should sell that 32yr old now. He'll never be worth more, and he'll never get any better.

The 20yr old keeper will probably pop in 6 weeks. Could catch a break and roll him over in 5, just depends.

I am not training him, but he is a solid player for me, and I am trying to finish second for some extra cash. This will be his final season with me.

The cash from second place isn't worth what you're losing from not training a 17-19 yo.
