Here are the rankings for week 20.12. Doing these is feeling more and more like work than pleasure. I mean I like providing this, especially because I like to evaluate my team against others, but it's turning out to be a lot of work. Don't know if anybody knows this, but I search and pull the ratings of any team ranked in here that doesn't post its ratings on the thread. 60, 60, 55, an 58 teams posted their ratings in the thread in the last four weeks, this means that with 115 teams ranked like we have right now, I had to go and pull some 56 ratings on an average week... Even more, some 40 teams didn't post their ratings once in the last four weeks... I'm not really complaining, just saying I will really need the break in the offseason... I'll see how it goes after that and what I want to do with the rankings... Now, to the rankings!
I'll get to the rankings in a moment, for now, some explanations... - TW stands for "This Week" - LW stand for "Last Week" - The first set of numbers (to the left of the team names) represents the relative ranking of every team. A blank in either column means that team wasn't ranked that week. - The second set of numbers (to the right of the FOFC member name) represents the rankings points scored for the last two week. - The rankings points for a given week are calculated using a weighted moving average of that week's NSI points and the score of the previous two weeks' NSI points. - "NSI points" is the sum of all your position ratings from your game report, with midfield counting as triple its value - Ratings are scored with the base value set at disastrous = 1, wretched = 2, and so on. - If your team doesn't play its game because of a walkover, your rating for the game in question will be ignored in the weighted average and the remaining ratings will be used. - "exper" stands for the number of weeks of Hattrick experience the user has, that is the date of the day minus the date he got his team, divided by 7. Below, you will find a text formatted version of the rankings, but they are available on the web, GO TO THE OFFICIAL FOFC HATTRICK RANKINGS HOME ON THE WEB I have not done a TOPS page this week, sorry. That's about it for me, enjoy the rankings. As always, your comments are welcome and bragging is encouraged If you have any question about my very scientific methodology, feel free to ask ![]() FrogMan Code:

Well, after a brief flirtation with the 20s, I've been back solid in the teens the last few weeks.

Thanks for all the hard work FM. We are in a bit of a form slump, but our ratings are holding together.

FM: what if you asked for a few volunteers?
If you could get 4-5 people to help out then you would only need to each pull 10 ratings, not very many at all...

I was just thinking about that, I would certainly be able to post 10 mor more ratings if I am available. Just send me names of some teams that never post, and I can try and get them up.

Thanks for the ideas guys. Yeah, asking for help is something I'm usually pretty bad at
I'll think about this during the day and will get back to you about this. The thing is TredWel has approached me about possibly making a program that would go and get the ratings from the HT website. We are sort of waiting for HT to unveil the new XML files that would make this easier and we would also have to get the CHPP approval. This is wait and see, but maybe in the near future, there won't be any copy/pasting to be done We (me or TredWel) will keep you posted. For now, post your ratings in the ratings thread, and baout the non posters, I'll let you know what we can do... FM
