Conflict of Interests: Games v. Work

Have you ever been playing a game while taking a break from work (or school) and just get on an unnatural roll? Do you keep playing or stop?

I ask because I just got finished playing a game that was only going to last a few minutes while I rested from a paper. It ended up going 35 minutes because I got on the roll of a lifetime. I had only played the game like 5 times before, and it all just clicked right then. I was about halfway through when my girl came over, and she's like, "why don't you just quit." I said sometimes you just have it going your way. She gave me the look (I also think she didn't want me to beat her high score).

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has just had a game go their way, and they know they can't quit no matter what they have to do.

Oh, and here's a screenie of how I obliterated the previous high score:

Heck work is where I play FOF - used to be CM but the new version needs too high a spec for my work PC.

Currently attempting to get back into space invaders........and I hate customers who ring me when I am on a roll

Lazy days in the office...

Taking a break? What, you wrote one line and needed to stop? The visible part of the Word window is all white!

And yes, I've had this happen too.

I would love to have been able to take a class where I could take a break from writing my midterm paper after writing just 2 pages!
