TCY to FOF

If you want to export a draft class from TCY to FOF, do the years have to match? I.E. Can you export a draft class from a TCY career in 2020 to a new FOF franchise (that would be 2003 or 2004 by default)?

And they won't retire until 2035-2040, meaning they will play for 30-35 years...
