Stupid Fantasy Football Moves..

I started Kerry Collins against Atlanta this week and he has netted me a -4 points with his 2 picks so far ...

On my bench, Tommy Maddox with 20 fantasy points so far against Arizona.

This move, may very well cost me a win this week. If it does, I will likely miss the playoffs and a nice money pot (just making the playoffs gets a little cash in this league)

You don't know the cardinal rule of the Giants?

Whenever they should cruise, they lose.

Yeah, I was about to convince my brother to play Warrick Dunn this week. Instead he started Shaun Bryson. Oh well.

That is a sage rule which I wish I had listened to before setting my lineup this week.

Speaking of that rule.. I wish I had listened to it before starting Tiki Barber whose fumbles are costing me big.

You did WHAT?!?

I missed that advice on this board, but sheesh. I would never start Collins over McNair no matter the matchup. I wish I could get McNair in my league. I tried trading everything for him last week, including Harrison and Tiki Barber in a 2 for 1. I couldn't get him. The guy is having a monster season and in my opinion is MVP of the NFL this year. On the other hand, my lack of a quality steady QB is costing my team the playoffs likely.

I started Collins this week but my other QB has a bye week....
on the plus side though, i was able to pick up Rudi Johnson this morning, who for some reason hadn't been grabbed yetafter he was released by a guy who thought Dillon would be back a week or so ago.........that helped me

Had I had both McNair and Collins, I'd have started Collins.

I have a pretty good team. Two players scored TDs for my team this week: backup WR Johnny Morton and waiver-wire-pickup-just-for-starter-this-week QB David Carr (who made me look smart for picking him up as he notched 2 TDs to Bledsoe's 0 and McNabb's unknown tomorrow night and Brooks off week).

That said, my opponent only had 2 TDs from Manning, 2 TDs from Rudi Johnson and that's it. So if Jamal Lewis can have a big game tonight, I may be able to with with only 2 players scoring TDs. Because between the two of us: Amani Toomer, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Chad Johnson, Peter Warrick, Deshaun Foster, Terry Glenn, Itula Mili, and Andre Johnson combined for maybe 400 yards and 0 TDs...

I also need Jamal Lewis to have a BIG night. If he can score 3 touchdowns, I could still win With most other backs, I would say this is unlikely, but with Jamal Lewis the dream is still alive.

Tomlinson was practially my entire team today, considering that Maurice Morris is my other back, and Kurt Kittner was at QB for me today. Urgh.

In one of my leagues I have TJ Duckett and Marshall Faulk as my starting running backs this week. I'm not sure I've ever had my two starting RB's have that good of a day with that few of yards.

In another league I started Rudi Johnson and Charlie Garner. Talk about heaven and hell. . .

I have Collins and Pennington in one of my leagues. I had Collins starting all week, but one of the fantasy gods told me in a dream last night to switch to Pennington, so i did. Thank you fantasy gods! =)

Hey, I had Kyle Boller and Willis McGahee starting (my only other RB was on a bye).
