Angry TCY: BCS Nightmare

I am Arizona State, riding a 52 game winning streak, 3 time defending champions. At the start of the season, I notice that we are not playing Stanford. The last 5 winners of the ASU/Stanford game have won the Pac-10. I predict that ASU and Stanford will meet for the National Title. Sure enough, ASU and Stanford are 1-2 in the polls for most of the season.

However, there wind up being 5 undefeated teams at the end of the season 1-ASU, 2-Stanford, 3-Michigan, 4-Tennessee, 7-Pittsburgh. Of course, the BCS selects Michigan and Tennessee for the Title Game. My poor Sun Devils, who have to play Pittsburgh in the Sugar Bowl, are so disappointed at not being able to win a 4th title that they come out very flat, and have their winning streak snapped, 41-21.

Any other examples of BCS madness?

I am on a quest to show that the Dolphins can win the Super Bowl. Or should I say Front Office Bowl, with FOF2K7.

Playing in the solecismic 8 always brings interesting results. Like, even if my team goes undefeated, will they play in the championship? Hell, will they even play in the BcS?

I need to boot up TCY once my PC gets goin.

My post must have been on the old board (I was just looking for it), but I had a situation where the difference between #'s 1-3 was razor thin. #3 ended up cruising in their bowl game, while #2 ended up barely winning the national title game. The team that didn't play in the national title game ended up being the #1 BCS ranked team at seasons end, despite not playing in the "championship game."

Adding to this was the fact that the #3 team was Ohio State, and I beleive #2 was Michigan - who OSU had beat head-to-head earlier. A weird scenario.
