Ping 49er fans: JJ Stokes released...again
Wow is his career over or what now ???!!!
After just one half of a season (13 catches ONLY), the Jaguars dump him to make room for Kevin Johnson. It took San Francisco 8 years to fire him...it took 9 weeks to Jacksonville. I'm not sure he'll ever make another roster someday...

I'm sure someone will pick him up. You don't want him starting for you, but he's good enough to be a 3rd or 4th receiver for some teams.

I remember being pissed off when the Browns went and traded the #10 pick for the 49ers to pick him.

What's pretty crazy is that he had several starts for the Jags too, and with Brunell throwing the ball, and he didn't do well.
Of course, I am beginning to salivate at the thought of Jimmy Smith, Kevin Johnson, and Troy Edwards. -Anxiety
