Argghhh damn college football team

Dammit, my college is pissing me off.

We had a chance to take the lead with 1 minute left in the game, but they couldn't get the hold down on the FG. We lost by 1.

We ran the ball up the middle on 1st down 12 times this game (if you've read other posts about this team, you'd know my frustration with this.) We gained around 3 totals yards on those plays.

Our kicker had missed 2 FG's all year. He just broke the Southern Conference kicking record this game. He missed his 2nd FG and hit the other 2. We lost by 1.

Man, this team is cursed. We lost to the Citadel by 1 pt when we couldn't get the hold down for an XP. 4 of our 5 losses were by 5 or less (we lost to CLemson by 11, but shut them out in the second half).

And I'm not blaming the loss on the refs, but they didn't call pass intereference in the end zone despite our player not being able to put up his hands.

Arghhhh, if only I could afford the domain firebobbylamb.com

Don't get too upset. I'm sure they could still route UTEP...

Our most creative play, a WR pass from a lateral, was lofted to the goal line and almost intercepted. The guy picked it off, but came down out of bounds.

I mean, we outplayed the other team (our D is great, but the O is just blah), gained almost 200 yards more, 12 more first downs, held it 12 minutes more. And the team we were playing is #5 in D-1aa (I think). We just can't close a game out.
