Quick Simming Ahead?
I notice that several people who are fond of fictional universes like to sim quickly through a number of seasons to get to a universe of completely game draft generated players. I am curious how people do this. I don't see any way to sit aside and watch the seasons without being a GM. The scouts seem to be able to handle most functions except free agency. Is there any way to have scouts handle FA signings (other that players to fill in rosters)? I seem to be faced with the choice of either playing FA each season, or skipping it and ending up with a team that has not signed a quality FA in 20 years (which is a problem, as I am not playing the Bengals).
In my first attempt at this, I did figure out that I needed to turn "allow GMs to be fired" off ![]()

You've got it right. You either need to sign FA's yourself, or start with a team that hasn't signed a quality FA in 20 years.
And yes, if you don't sign FA's yourself, you need to turn off "allow GM's to be fired."

Sky,
There is a message that will let you "override" the firing now. You can still keep the option on if you like. ![]() TroyF |
