Anyone know of a good, cheap [read: freeware] photo editor available for download? Specifically, I'm looking to cut faces from one photo and put them onto the faces in another photo. I can't figure out how to do this in Microsoft Paint, without bringing a whole rectangle with me.

Anyone know of a nice, simple, freeware screenshot program?

You may know this, but I will throw it out there in case:

all you have to do is hit the print screen button to get a shot of your desktop. Alt + print screen will capture the current active app.

Then, all you have to do is paste it into your paint program.

The only powerful freebies that I know of come with most distributions of Linux.

I highly recommend, however, that you acquire a copy of Paint Shop Pro. It is sub $100 and extremely powerful. Try ebay, you may find some real cheap copies on there.

gimp's UI makes me want to eat my nards.

But it is a great free tool once you get used to it.
