Due to past injustices...

i believe in the q & a jim said that being able to re-sign a player you once cut would be re-worked this year....has anyone seen this? or will a player you cut 10 years ago STILL refuse to sign with your team?

It has been said, by QS I believe, that players get over it in due time.

I cut a player after the end of a season and resigned him just before the preseason....

In my test league, I just cut a player that was inactive and immediately tried to rehire him and received the "past injustices" stuff.

what is interesting to me is that "average" players shouldn't care about this. They are cut all the time and move around, so they should be happy to receive a call from any team. I could see star caliber players having this attitude, but not every player. Their next stop is the real world of hourly wages.

I regularly see computer controlled teams cut and then resign their players at lower rates, but the human never can.
