Wearing out players?
Well, I drafted a RB first overall, and MAN was he great. He was also absolutely healthy .... until .... in his 5th year I had no QB/WR's worth using. So ... I beefed up on the run .. a "little" bit.
That year he broke a couple records. He ran the ball for 506 carries, and for 2,472 yards, and I won the Super Bowl. Heh Yet, in the 2 years since he has gotten injured around 8 or 9 times, and lost alot of his ratings to these injuries. 0 injuries for 5 years, and a lot of injuries in 2 years. Is this because I wore him out? Anyone know if it's possible?! |

I don't know about "wearing out", but I have observed that players tend to get injured more as they get older.

I could understand that, but he was only 26 years old.
Not exactly where I'd expect old age to set in. ![]() |

How many good seasons were you expecting? How many runningbacks in the NFL keep churning out good seasons for more than 5 or 6 years anyway? They seem to age quickly, most of the time.
