Gah... Boss Bailey stay healthy!!
I signed Boss Bailey to this huge 7 year deal. He is a stud in ratings, I thought "woohoo, I solved my linebacker problem". I checked his stats and he never missed a game with Detroit, putting up 90-114 tackle seasons every year.
Now it's 4 years later and I can't keep him on the field. He dings up his shoulder every other week. His first year with me he played 9 games, I wasn't worried then because the next season he played 15. Now he has turned into Boss of the Inactive List. His third season he played 9 and now in week 12 of this season I finally got him healthy for his first game since the opener after dinging up his shoulder yet again and the first thing he does is tear his shoulder! The sad thing is I have 3 more years of using kid gloves on this guy. None of this has hurt his ratings... sigh

Boss Bailey is a man among boys. I am currently playing my career with the Lions. Three seasons into a Boss has developed into a stud. He won defensive rookie of the year and has had over 90 tackles each season, not too mention a bushel of sacks. I certainly hope your injury problems aren't a portent of things to come. (either in my game or in real life, as one of the knocks on Boss was that he was injury prone (see: the two knee surgeries. And he does have a dinged up shoulder at the moment).I already lost Charles Rogers because of this. His contract came up and he was asking for big time money. He has the skills to demand it, but he's always injured. Always. |

HornedFrog Purple- Your QB plays in a dink and dunk offense... why does he have so many Int's? Man I would hate to play your team in real life cant stand that dink and dunk drives me crazy watching it. Do you play alot of zone also?

I am playing as the Vikes with Real Rosters and after the first season, Jimmy Kliensasser is a stud TE. I franchise him, but don't give him a contract because of his wants. 60mil over 5 years. Well for the second season in a row, he is my leading reciever, over Moss, and has more TD's. Well, Hovan is francised in year two because he is an animal. I eventually end up signing Jimmy in about the 9th round of FA after about 7 teams bid him up. I end up giving him about 70mil over 6 years with a 12mil plus signing bonus. As I am really regretting it, trying to comfort myself by saying he is my offense, he gets suspended for the season. I guess it is better than a knee injury...

I am a tightwad with spending money on offense, you would dink and dump too if you had my receivers. My stud tight end has 3 straight 100+ reception seasons, and I go through running backs like butter, I can't ever keep them healthy. Zone?!?!!?! man to man, bump and run and multiple blitz baby!
