Thumbs up Nice to see Faulk playing well...

Yes sireee... Look out for the Rams!

If we can get home field advantage in the playoffs, lookout!

Faulk is back to his old self, I can only imagine his fantasy football stats today.

Yeah, between him and the offensive line starting to gel they're going to be tough.

Faulk? That's great and all...but how about Little? No one could stop him today. Freaking unbelievable! What a game.

Ahhhh yes, Little played like an animal who was just let out of his cage for the first time.

In fact, St. Louis put it all together today, although they usually do at home.

Smith called a great defensive game today, blitzing the heck out of Dante was key.

After selecting Faulk in the first round of my fantasy draft, I am quite pleased with his performance the last few weeks

Well, I choose Warner. Good thing Hasselbeck was my backup. I'm out of our playoffs by a game, but the game that cost me was the TB - Indy game a few Monday nights ago.

Even the special teams played well..... Hell, when Bobby April is jumping up and down with glee, you know it has been a good day.

I'll be there for the Seattle game in a couple of weeks. That game is going to be huge.

Yeah, I hope we kick Seattle's butt. It should be a different story when they come to our house.

Another Missourian? Great!

Listen to you guys.......LMAO!!! It was just 7 days ago that the Cardinals took the Lambs to OT. Unbelieveable. I wouldn't cream in my shorts about a win over the horrible Vikings. Although your schedule looks pretty cupcake-ish, you still gotta win them all to get home field it appears.

That's what a dominating win will do for ya. I'm really not worried about the NFC, it's the AFC I worry about.

I don't know where you get the idea we are creaming in our shorts, it's just good to have Marshall back in full swing. Minnesota was leading their division last time I checked.

Ahhh... Rams haters....

? for the Rams fans--what is your view of Martz? The national perception after '99 as I saw it was that he was the genius behind the Super Bowl win, and that DV was simply the caretaker.

Then, DV left and we see what Martz and DV have each been able to accomplish since. My perception of Martz now is that he is a great OC, but a poor/average head coach. (For example, I don't think that a DV coached team would have ever gotten out-punched by the Saints).

I am curious, though, how do Rams fans view Martz? Do y'all still love him to death? Do y'all wish you still have DV? More complex than that?

Heheh, i guess i got the idea from the first 4 posts in this thread. Maybe i misinterpreted them. Please forgive me for my oversight.

The Vikings suck. I would not get excited about a win over them. They have lost 5 of 6, and most to pretty bad teams. 200+ team yards rushing against their def. is an average day for any team, and a bad day for a good rushing team.

Examples you say? Ok.......

Week 7--Clinton Portis, 25-117, 1 TD, 138 team yds
Week 8--Tiki Barber, 20-75, 1 TD, 83 team yds
Week 9--Ahman Green, 21-137, 0 TD, 261 team yds
Week 10--LaDainian Tomlinson, 16-162, 2 TDs, 211 team yds
Week 11--Tyrone Freakin Wheatley, 32-109, 1 TD, 191 team yds
Week 12--Detroit, 19-74 total (mirage)

Today--Faulk, 17-108, 3 TDs, 151 team yds

Look, i'm just saying that if you are gauging your team, or your RB, on today's game, you are foolish. And for being a Viking fan, I am foolish. Teams get good against the Vikings, it's been a disturbing trend for weeks. But, it's because they are a bad defensive team.

First, my views on Martz. Well, I'm in agreement with you. A good OC, but not a HC yet. I wish Dickie was still here running this team with Martz up high looking on running the offense. I truly think Dick was ran out of town, why else would he come back so soon? I believe Martz said, "Either make me a head coach or I'll go elsewhere and coach." Again, that's just my opinion. I also think he has an ego problem, but that's another post. He has the Rams at 9-3, so what else can I say?

Faulk has put 3 excellent games together and today was spectacular, in my book. It's an NFL team he went up against, so I'm a little happy at how his quickness seems to be back to his level of play.

The Vikings have had an up and down season thus far, but I really think they can challege Green Bay for the title.

Seahawks-Rams should be a fun game. Two great offenses with big time weapons.

Looking at the schedule for both teams, I would venture to say the Packers have a much easier road, with Denver the only hard game, while the Vikings have Seattle and Kansas City.

We'll make it $10 and you're on. You can pay me via Paypal as well.

Fair enough, $10 it is. That will be the start of my TPF fund, thanks Todd.

Yep, O'Fallon here....

As for Martz, I think the perception here in St. Louis is that he is growing into being a really good head coach. There is no doubt that he probably was a little overmatched when he took over the team a couple of years back. However, it would appear that last year's struggles not only humbled him, but also showed him how to be a better coach. There is no way he would have stuck with Bulger through his troubles a couple of years ago... He appears to have matured and it is beginning to pay off.

It's not so much who he did it against it's just that it looks like the quickness is returning more each week starting with the Chicago game.

As far as the Vikes I'm more impressed with what the Ram defense did to Minnesota's offense. Defense wins championships and they stopped a pretty good team in Minnesota.

Yeah, so did Oakland, San Diego and Detroit. (Remember, the offense only scored 10 pts against the Lions)

I thought you had v5? Where you been, out to sea?

I've been tied up with TCY, FBCB, and haven't even touched FOF 2004.. except for some graphical stuff.

Lions looked pretty good against Green Bay, maybe they're starting to gel ( I don't really think so but maybe?) and Oakland and SD both played pretty well against KC.

edit for the remark in ( )

If FOF 2004 has taught me anything, it's that the Rams are primed for a first round playoff exit.

They're one win away from claiming the NFC North title and a 2003 playoff berth. All that stands in the Vikings' way are the 3-12 Arizona Cardinals, led by inexperienced quarterback Josh McCown and veteran running back Emmitt Smith. Sure, it may look like a pushover, but the Vikings are taking nothing for granted and plan on playing very hard in Arizona this Sunday (4:05 p.m. ET). "It's big," rookie running back Onterrio Smith said. "We know we're going to go out to Phoenix and put on a show. Everybody's real fired up about it, real motivated, and the whole season has boiled down to one game, so we have to go out and take it."
