FOF2004: Can someone run some tests?

I was reading through Daimyo’s “Importance of different positions” thread and wondered about a more basic test, not dealing with positions but in randomness of game results.

I wonder if someone could take a regular season game and save it before the game is simmed (save #1). Then, set up the appropriate depth charts and gameplans for the upcoming opponent. Save it (save #2), fast sim the game and record the results. Repeat 10 (100?) times going back to save #2 each time.

Then as a secondary test, take the same saved game (save #1) and let the coaches set the depth charts and gameplans (using recommend). Save it (save #3), fast sim the game and record the results. Repeat 10 (100?) times going back to save #3 each time. Also, it might be worth noticing if you were to go back to save #1 in the latter test, how much variation would the coaches make each time?

Does this makes any sense?
