Making trades? How to?!
I have a friend that wants to trade with me.. His excellent forward for my excellent midfielder.. I was wondering how this goes about? I remember reading something about contacting a GM for trades? I mean I can think about each of us putting a guy up on the market and bidding for each other or something.. but I dunno.. and if we make a trade.. I'd like to play him in tomorrows match... is that possible? Anyone know what to do or have any thoughts here?
I guess it's pretty urgent..thanks -hobbes

You need to inform a GM before any action, typically trades are done with high caliber players...but all action needs to be informed by a GM...it should be in the rules somewhere.

Unless those players' transfer deadline is before the game tomorrow, chances are you won't be able to use them that quickly. As far as I understand it, you set it up as a normal transfer then make an overpriced bid to make sure that you get the other person's player. The big reason for notification to GM is that you'll be bidding over what the normal price would be and they have to know that everything is kosher.
Regardless, definitely contact your local GM. PS - If it happens to be Calvinn then the rest of us get to giggle about the names. ![]() |

But if it goes up to the transfer market, and have to pay a high price, then we get gauged by the 10%?

Yeah, I think you do end up shelling out the agent's fee. But on the positive side, you do know what you're getting and you're getting what you want. Kind of a slight tradeoff.
