Can i change difficulty after starting a franchise?

Is this possible, or what I start with I'm stuck with?

I'm 99.9% sure you are stuck with what you start with.

Always choose the hardest setting, that way you can grow into the game. Unless it's ootp5 where the stats of players are affected on the hardest level, I think normal is best there.

I will say TCY has been really hard on the hardest setting (all-star) thus far in my career.

....but a variable setting would be nice (kind of like console sports games)...

I've played on Wall Street for most of my seasons, but I didnt win any bowls, so I decided to take it down a notch, but now I have won 2 in 3 years. I wanna bump it up but it doesnt appear thats possible. I think an option to change after you start a franchise might be a nice addition to any future FOF.
