OT - Poker in Wisconsin.. finally
Never did understand the concept of Indian Casinos only being able to have Blackjack, Slots and Bingo.. gambling is gambling... but, anyways.. Nice to see the Ho-Chunk casino ACTUALLY has Hold Em/Omaha/7 card stud and Hi-Low now after the new gaming compact. Only 2 tables (?) so, hate to see how god awful of a wait there is to get on a table.
But.. anyways.. I'm having a moment here... Poker.. close by.. *sniff*

A friend and I went up to Ho-Chunk two weekends ago. We got there a little after noon on Saturday, and he went to check on the wait for Texas Hold-Em. They said if he signed up, he might get on at about 2:00 PM.
On Sunday. So, he signed up for another, less popular game (don't remember which). I think he was about 11th or 12th on the list. When we left the casino 3 or 4 hours later, he was up to 6th. If you wanna play, you might want to go on a weekday. |

Sounds good to me as long as they don't get a casino in my hometown. Actually, I'm not sure if the lawsuit over the issue has been resolved yet, but it doesn't look like there will be one built there anytime soon.
