OT: MP3 Software
I want to get my girlfriend some software that allows her to convert music to MP3's and vice versa. Anyone have any suggestions. She got herself the MP3 player for passing the NY State bar but didn't want software. She's asking for it for xmas, and I want to oblige her. But I'm looking for some good software.

Assuming that you are talking about ripping CD's to mp3s... I use MusicMatch and my fiancee uses iTunes, we are both very happy w/ them for simple turn a CD into mp3 purposes.

I know it's from the evil Micro$oft, but I use version 9 of Windows Media Player. Works like a charm for me...

I use iTunes for Windows on my PC and iTunes on my iBook. I'm a big fan of it for ripping music off my CDs.
