I registered, but I haven't ever signed up as a "real money" player on this site. I wonder if they'll let me into the freeroll anyway. I know some sites won't even let you enter freerolls unless you deposit money.

I would, but I have to go watch my 3-year old daughter sing Jingle Bells in her preschool's Christmas program. I know, my priorities are all out of whack.

Yay, I found my way in. It really is bizarre that three of us are at the same table. Good luck, guys!

Some moron went all-in pre-flop with A4o. Thanks to that, I got moved to another table to even out the number of players all around. So much for hanging out with a couple of FOFC guys. Maybe I'll see you two later in the tournament!

I just had to fold a boat because I smelled quads with three fives on the board. I had the second high boat and got raised big after some "hesitant" calls. He didn't show, but Im pretty confident in my lay down. I dont take big chances like that early. Stack 1340

My stack is at 2600 right now. Hit a good straight earlier (ten high, but nobody else had anything). Sitting pretty for now.

My second boat of the evening worked out a bit better. Flopped a set of fives and got the boat on the river. Couldn't get the guy on my line to call of his last $500 though. Stack 2140.

Wish I had your senses Matt. Just got knocked out when someone got an 8 on the river for four of a kind to beat my boat.

Was sitting short stacked at the time and just wasn't going to lay down my cards. :/

Ouch. I might have been wrong of course. I also hadnt invested much in my hand at that point. It really wasnt that strong a hand, anyway. I think I had K8 in the BB and the flop 855, and the board was 855Q5 at the end. I bet small on each street and my opponent called in what appeared to me to be a hesitant manner (took a long time on each street and then called). This seemed fishy to me since I was betting fairly small trying to get raised by a guy with the 5 (most of these people arent good enough to do otherwise). I was just testing the waters. He came over the top of my river smallish bet with a bet for half my stack and I said no. Not this early.

DOLA - hand detail. limped in from SB with 76c. Flop came 4c 5c 7s. Straight flush draw and top pair. I bet fairly large and get called. Turn and river both 5's. And I called his big raises of my decent bets. That's just wrong.

The wheels are coming off for me, too. I'm sitting at 1240.00 right now, but I've lost my ass on the last couple of hands. Lost about half my stack. Trying to hang in there.

This kind of crap always seems to happen to me at Absolute Poker in the their freerolls, while I generally clean up in the sit and gos.

You wouldnt believe what just happened to me. Sitting at 250. I go allin with AK and get two callers and triple up. Up to 810. Next hand Allin with KK. No callers, 900. Next hand AJs and flop trips. I check the flop and the guy next to me goes allin. I quickly call and double again. Im sitting at about 1800. QJh VERY NEXT HAND and flop top pair. I bet 120 and am called. Two diamonds on board. Next is a Jc. I go allin to prevent the guy from drawing his flush. He has me covered by about 1000. He calls and catches his *)@#*$)(@#$ diamond and Im out. I hate this game

I was just about to ask what happened. I was watching you comeback, and then glanced over at pumpy's table. When I looked back, you were gone.

Atleast Pumpy seems to be playing strong tonight.

Ah, a couple of people at my table are too ballsy for their own good. I've got the top stack at the table now.

I'm not too exciting to watch now. Slow-playing it big time with the blinds getting high.
