If only the Eagles could find a guy this good:

Houston had the top pick in the draft. I was in the low 20s. McNabb had retired a few years prior and I was floundering big time for a QB. The draft comes up and I see this guy with maxed blue bars everywhere. Yikes. I normally don't do it, but I bargained my ass off to get the number 1 pick. Houston had a stud QB and their top need was DE.

Took me about a half hour to find the combo they wanted but I found it. Had to give up a super red-barred DE stud that I had drafted 1st round 2 years prior. Also, I had to give away that year and the next years 1st round pick and that years 2nd round pick. I think it was worth it.

Took me to the big game in his second year, which we lost. Should make for an exciting few years until his contract is up and he asks for 75 billion dollars.

Bah. Not much of a scrambler.

the question is, how good is your scout with quarterbacks/young talent? The player looks to be that good judging from the early statistics. Lucky for you he didn't bust. You gave up a hell of a lot. This is what I love about FOF. In real life, it would take ten years to really judge whether this was a good trade, and by then you would forget to even ask the question. In FOF, I suspect we'll have the answer much sooner. Let us know how the drafted players and the DE end up doing.

Yeah, giving up 2 first rounders and a second was a big "gift", but my scout was Very Good with QBs and his volatility is 23. With that info, I figured he was going be at least a solid starter.

He helped us get to 2 bowls in a row by his 3rd year, but we lost both and the following year we lost in the WC game (we went 13-3 that year).
