nickel defense and linebackers (fof2004)
When you have nickel defense in FOF2004, which linebacker does the computer take out?

Is it the same for both 3-4 and 4-3?

So with the dime package, only your MLB stays in, with your 3rd corner and 3rd safety coming in, correct?

whover are set as your nickel corner and dime corner will come in (so if you want one of those to be your safety, make sure it's set up that way). I'm not 100% on the LB that stays in, but MLB sounds like a pretty good guess. |

nickel = 2lbs (MLB and SLB), 4DLs, 3 CBs, and 2S
dime= 4 DLs, 1 LB (pretty sure it's MLB), 4 CBs and 2S I did an experiment to recreate the 4-2-5 look some colleges use. I used the 4-3 base with a safety @ WLB and #3 CB. He lead the team in total plays on defense. |

Who stays on the field if you run a 3-4 defense? |

Still MLB and SLB since you're adding a DL and replacing the WOLB and the ILB.

As poster earlier up, they said that in both the 4-3 and 3-4 the WLB is replaced by the Nickel corner. IN a 3-4 defense this would give your a 3-3-5 look.
