FOF- Returning to default options

I set up a league with teams in different cities and changed the team nicknames. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the new patch, but that didn't fix it. Any quick way to go back to original cities so that I don't have to do it by hand again?

I htink the file that gets edited when you change city data is called frfoot.fcy -- if that's all you need to restore, then you just need to get back your original version of that file. (To reset nicknames, if that's a big deal, you'd need frfoot.fni also)

I'm not sure the easiest way to do so. I might be to re-install, after backinb up the contents of your universe directory (and any others you have used via MP, I supose).

Hope that helps.

If you rename frfoot.fcy and frfoot.fni in the Universe folder, then the original data from the files in the game folder is used.

Was this the best solution for running different universes?

Probably having different versions of the files in subfolders and use batch files with DOS commands that copies the files before you start a game. I posted about doing this in the multi-player thread which is linked in the FOFC reference.

Could you just have 2 universe, pictures, and leagues folders (ie. one universe2, one universe). And rename them back and forth depending which you wanted to play (multiplayer with different cities or solo with NFL cities)?

3ric's solution is remarkably easy... works like a charm.
