Angry Just can't win in the game purchasing area

Uhg. After debating to get TPF or not i actually remembered that i had wanted FBCB a while back but just couldn't do it then. So after just about being close to buy TPF i was once again undecided in what to do, get TPF flaws and all, or FBCB which i know is a great game from what i have experienced through the demo and have read.

I mentioned the choice to my wife and she just said get FBCB now, then TPF in 2-3 weeks when hopefully it is in better shape.

BUT!! I go to purchase FBCBand i get some crap error about my zipcode/address not matching my CC info.....no biggie, i go back, check my info and try again.....same thing, can't go through with the final step. My wife right after that was checking our accounts and saw that i had JUST BEEN CHARGED for the game.....but i never got my eLicense or anything, so a reply i await from ViaTech........

Also give HeavyReign a PM. He should be able to help you out. Much quicker than ViaTech most likely.

Gotta love Viatech sometimes. I ran into something like that a while back. It was weird, they had my address listed as my old address, which not only hadn't I lived at for several years but the card that I was using was one that I got since movnig so it should have never been attached to my old address. Just a strange thing that seemed to straighten itself out.

Here's my take on this from past experience. When using my debit card online I've had a couple experiences where the payment didn't go through the first time due to something like a typo but a preliminary charge still gets put against the card. It would then take it off when they do the official processing of the transactions because the transaction wan't completed. This sort of thing never shows up on your bill but it might show up online until it gets cancelled. My athletic club has done this to me a number of times where I'll check and see like 4 charges for the monthly payment but it gets fixed without any issues.

Thanks for responding here and on PM. As of now i will wait until the morning to decide. My bank does do processing on Saturdays from my experience so we will see if it comes off, it sounds like a reasonable possibility to me. The "transaction" never did get past the final step, so i was suprised to see it on the account. Anyways, it just wasn't my night for a new game i guess. Otherwise i'm sure this will be figured out soon enough. Thanks.

Don't use the debit card!

Use a real credit card, because you have more protection.

Just had similar experience, before I searched about this topic,
with purchasing FOF 5.1d, and looking for any kind of help.

Should I wait until next business day?
