OT - Former ChiSox Calderon killed
LOIZA, Puerto Rico -- Former major league baseball player Ivan Calderon was shot to death Saturday. He was 41.
Witnesses said Calderon was in a store when two people entered and, without a word, shot the former outfielder multiple times in the back, said police Sgt. Maribel Arzuaga. Calderon played 10 seasons in the major leagues ESPN link |

Hate to say it, but it sounds to me this has something to do with him oweing people money. People just don't get shot in the back for no reason.

That was my first thought too...hmm, people don't get shot multiple times in the back without a word for no reason at all. Sounds like Ivan got himself into something shady he couldn't get out of.
