FBCB: Best Half?
My team (Boston University) went in to the half against Binghamton up 32-29. My team was 11-4 so far for the season, theirs 4-10, so I was expecting an easy game and thusly had been dissapointed in my players.... until the second half.
We scored 72 second half points, compared to just 31 for our opponents to win 104-60. It was mostly due to my under-achieving starting SF finally finding his game, scoring 27 points (9-13 shooting) and nabbing 6 steals, and a reserve freshman SG scoring 18 points (4-5 on three pointers). Not to mention the fact that we stole the ball 16 times and forced them in to 24 turnovers. Anybody else had a half of basketball like this? Perhaps 72 points in a half isn't as rare as I think it is, but I certainly don't recall seeing it before.

I think the best I've seen my team do is around 60 points in a half.
I've never even broken 100 points in a game in almost 10 seasons now. |

Well GB I think you've been playing some lower prestige teams? When I started the demo I played George Mason, and thanks to their PG who was the #3 scorer in the nation, I think I went over 100 about 5 times in my second season. In one three game stretch he had 36, 42, and 47 points!
In my current game as horrible Savannah State, I saw the most interesting stat line I've seen yet. One of my obscure scrubs, around 14th on the depth chart, got put in in one of my rare wins. The results? Player Pos Min Fgm-a Ftm-a Off Reb Ast PF Pts Perry Poirier SF 1 3-3 2-2 1 2 0 0 10 That's pretty good for one minute! |

You know, that's not impossible if he's a 3-point speciallist. Maybe you have him rated too low.

Well he isn't, he has pretty terrible stats across the board, no shooting stat higher than the 30s. It was literally his one minute of fame, he didn't do anything else for two seasons, then graduated.

My first season I played SHSU in the Sun Belt Conference. I was rated 23 overall in scoring because that conference is such crap. |

I had a game where I scored 123 points in a non OT game. Didn't look at the breakdown though

That's pretty darn decent. Looking at the team records in a career where I auto-simmed 70+ years history, the record is currently 122, so you topped that!
