It's amzing how bad my team used to be.

I was looking back at an old "B" team match against the Mokan Mighty Bastards who beat me 1-0. Gotta love that wretched midfield. Also having only two outfielders with two stars, everbody had 1.5 or below.

I must admit, I had more fun back then than I could ever have now. I was ALWAYS on the transfer wire wasting money.

I still have lots of fun; part of the fun then was trying to figure out the ins and outs of the game. Now the fun is trying to keep up with the other teams.

And for me, it's fun to create new opportunities to be beaten in DIII.

Which, by all accounts, we all knew was going to happen.

I'm actually hoping to demote into lytic's or The Afoci's series.

I'm researching for a "kill owner" button as we speak.

I wouldn't mind that, either, but you guys won't have an auto promotee...and I'm definitely dropping without a qualification match.

I can only hope I could get promoted to an easy series that has you in it Ardent. I would have a better chance losing to a walkover.

Obviously, our teams are much, much better now than they were back then, but just as clearly, there was an artificial boost when the experience was added in before last season. I know my NSI went up like 5-10 points immediately (and my start ratings did even better), and mine is/was a pretty inexperienced team!

well, i just got my first passable midfield last sunday...

looking back at the first match ever...

midfield...

wretched

yikes!

also, looking at fm's excellent ratings (merci beaucoup, mon ami), i see that i have gone up nearly every week... even the weeks with all three pass+ defenders out +2.

edit: fm's ratings.

AE can come to the mighty IV.56! Odds are that week 14match of mine is gonna dump me down to 2nd place (again), and Americanos will auto up. So...we shall call forth the Run and Shoot division!

I always like looking at this graph in my spreadsheet to give me a sense how how far my team has come up
