Ping: Anyone interested in CFL

I know this is not the right forum (I posted in the multiplayer forum) but no one ever visits there.

The Continental Football League is now actively seeking ownership for a few franchises. The CFL contains many famous FOFCers including but, not limited to: JeeberD, Frogman, mckerney, The Afoci, CoffeeWarlord, and HeavyReign. The league is heading into the final preseason strecth of year 1 and the regular season will start on Wednesday. The CFL has fictional franchises and fictional players. A top notch website is in the works. If you are interested by this keep reading.

Who should apply?

Anyone interested in being in one of the top premier multiplayer FOF leagues available. If you are looking for an active FOF leagues, this is the place to be. If your looking for a league that has just gotten off the ground but is not divulged into the first season, then the CFL is for you.

Will any priority be given to certain applicants?

The best way to win a spot in the CFL is to being active. It is rumored that The Afoci has a crush on active owners. If you apply, then register for the message board and post some, it will speak dividends for your application. As far as having to be a big name poster goes, that is not the way the league works. However, if I recognize your name and know you are a good poster and not some hooligan that might disrupt my league, then that will help you out as well.

How do I apply?

Send an email to thacharger21 AT hotmail.com and let me know you want a team. Download the league file and poke around and make sure this league is for you. Tell me a little bit about yourself and why you think the CFL is for you. Thanks for your interest.

Don't be alarmed, The Afoci does not know anyone's current address...so entry into the league should be relatively smooth.

Okay, this is it, I'm going to be the most inactive owner from now on... *keeps real quiet*

That's obviously true since I made it in. We need some other small name posters to join! Long live the CFL!

well Taco, you're quite an active poster over there, as your 60 posts in 4 months compare quite well with your 35 posts on FOFC over 2 years

Now see what you're doing? You're tempting me to post just to increase my post count, which is something I've successfully resisted for so long!

All applicants must send a 8x10 photo with them posing in a sailor out fit with a bottomless pair of shorts on. Cartwheel 'action' shots can give you a better team. PM me if you have any questions.

Frogman, it will be tough not to be so active. I saw that picture and boy can you cartwheel.

Wasbabiak- Yes, I still have three open teams and probably even four. I got your app. I am considering every app and will make my decisions soon.

Yes, you can. It's similar to having multiple single player leagues going. You have a drop down box that shows your leagues and teams to choose from in MP.

Though it's usually easier to have multiple installations and just edit the registry when you're going to play a different one. This is an easy way to have different team names and city data from league to league.

Or you can follow Dutch and 3ric's advice that has now been linked to in the All-Inclusive Thread (How To Run Multiplayer and Single Player Leagues Simutaneously). That way you don't have to mess with the registry at all...
