Angry ARGH damn HT clock!!

I need a wingback, so I placed a bid of 20K CDN on some guy.. bidding was supposed to end at 16:32, so I waited until then.. just to realize that the HT clock on the bottom of the page was behind by 10 minutes for some reason, and I lost the bid by 2K... I refreshed the page, and the clock jumped to the right time.. does thsi happen a lot?

Once you log in, it grabs the HT time from HT. Then it's up to your system clock to keep it active, so like Qwik said, if you're doing a lot of stuff, it's not as accurate.

since you're in the same time zone that's not really a big deal (same goes for me btw )

my clock is only off by about 15 seconds (NTP is a wonderful thing, btw).

However, i've noticed if you use the back/forward buttons in HT, your clock can get mangled...

To get it back in sync, i've found that going to conferences and clicking "hattrick menu" will reset the clock... or right-click and refresh.
