OT: CM03/04 offered Germany position?

I'm very proud to say my Bayern Munich squad crushed the Bundesliga and eventually won the treble. As a reward, I've been offered the position of manager for the German nationals. Frankly, I've never had success like that before (after 1 season!) and I was curious how it altered the gameplay. Can anyone shed some insight? Do I continue to manage Bayern Munich? How do I add and remove players from the national team? Is the focus mainly on tactics at that level, rather than training and player development? I know I should just play it and make some mistakes, but I hate to screw up this career, which has been pretty special so far.

you can manage both.

you don't care about training and player development.

you just select players and try to win games.

Yes, international management is all about tactics and choosing the right players. If you don't have a decent left winger, or a your forwards cannot finish for toffee, then tough. Work around it.

You still get to manage your club also.

Just to add, some of my favorite memories from CM come from international management. Taking Ireland to the World Cup quarterfinals, only to lose to Spain on penalties, is one of my better memories from the game. That being said, make sure you continue to manage a club side as well; not quite as realistic but the gaps between matches are unbearably long if you are only managing at international level.

Good luck with Germany!
