I know I made his list about two weeks ago, but this week is *THE* week of all week for the Dragons.
Look at the standings in Canada IV.18, after 10 weeks:
And guess who the Dragons play this week, at The Dojo no less, yep you got it, The Beatdown Collective... Game 1 between the two teams, played at Collective's place, ended in a 3-3 draw. The Dragons fought very hard to get back in this one, after falling bbehind 0-3 after only 20 minutes of play. By the 69th minute though, the score was tied, only to stay that way... In that first game, the Dragons had pulled their first ever formidable midfield, only to be beat in that regard by Collective's outstanding midfield. Shouldn't happen this week, as the Dragons go into the game at home, with a satisfied team spirit and about half a season of playmaking training later... This, combined with the fact the Collective's top inner midfielder is suspended, and his immediate backup was just injured for +5 in last Wednesday's friendly, should give the midfield advantage to the Dragons and not force them to MOTS, saving their team spirit for the last three games of the season, and possibly a qualifier, if they succeed to win against Beatdown Collective today. After this week, here are the last three league games for the Dragons: AWAY Strained Groin (avg NSI: 49.2, 7th place with 4 points, automatic PIC) HOME Nanaimo Wave (avg NSI: 61.5, 5th place with 14 points, possible PIC) AWAY Suicide Kings (avg NSI: 62.2, 3rd place with 21 points, should normal, could PIC) None of these teams pull very impressive midfield ratings and I've come to expect an excellent (or very high solid) midfield out of a PIC at home. Suicide Kings' 3rd place is misleading since he won twice over the demotee from III, Frateran FC, but was outclassed in NSI 60-70. Flip that game around and you have Frateran at 3rd with 19 points and Suicide Kings at 4th with 18 points... Tune in you all, the game starts at 5 eastern! ![]() FM

dola, I love how you can easily copy/paste an excel table in the WYSIWYG editor...
And, who else has a good game today, one that could decide your season? There's only 4 weeks left, crunch time has begun... FM

heh, you made it Froggie, don't worry. Oh, and apologies to BriezhManu, who would have made it, had I not been so lazy that I didn't get around to the list until now, by which time they had already played, and lost....

dola, and there is a reason why this guy is fighting for 1st place with me... Between 2 and 5 today, he went and bought a stopgap 28yo inner mid to solve his suspension/injury problem in the midfield...

The avg column is the average NSI since the beginning of the season, and the "as FOFC" column is the weighed average of the last three weeks, the same way I compute it for the rankings. It helps me see who's currently hot and who's not... FM

Talk about halftime adjustment!!! We went in down 1-2, but we had 60% possession in the first half. The guys came out roaring and went from the kil from there... Look at this second half so far
![]() Michael Nuttall pulled a real crowd pleaser as he, in the 47:th minute, wove through the guests whole central defense line and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. In the 54:th minute cheers broke out as Jon Riser found his way through the guests central defense line, clipping the 3 - 2 goal in for CDFC. In the 55:th minute of the match the visitors central line of defence had to look on as Michael Nuttall dashed through, knocking home 4 - 2 for CDFC. After this CDFC lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Reimund Brigg squirmed himself through the central defense line in the 64:th minute, asserting the lead to 5 - 2. GO DRAGONS!!!! ![]() FM
