Striker Training

I am sure this has been asked before, but how quickly do strikers train? I know that stamina is not supposed to play a part, but I've seen several strikers on the market with little stamina and few stars. Seems like a correlation there. I assume the best specialities are powerful, quick and header? Any help is great and many thanks.

for specialities unpredictable works well too.

I like mine fast (since people seem to dislike fast defenders I often score on special events because of my striker quickness)

I trained scoring for a number of seasons...but I don't recall the time frame involved...about 7 weeks I think.

Most of my forwards have had undpredicatable specialties, and very low passing.

Until this season, I routinely led the league in scoring, as well.

Against my better judgement . . .

Base training time for strikers with a Solid Coach and 9 Assistants is 6 weeks for a 17 year old.

Powerful specialties don't do too much for them, except on rainy days, or if they have an OK defense and you like to press.

Header and Quick are the best specialties to have for a forward. These two specialties will jack the price of your trainee up when you sell them.

Unpredictable and Technical are also decent specialties to have, but not as helpful. If you have any unpredictable players on your team, however, they are best served on the front line as a striker.

Stamina has minimal effect on strikers. If you look at two of my players: Cornelius Ball and Hafiz bin Selamat, you can tell. They are both putting up 4 stars with nearly the same attributes, with exception of stamina. Ball has wretched stamina and bin Selamat has solid stamina. You can see the difference only in their value. Stamina for strikers is only important if you're pressing.

One other thing that helps out strikers is their Set Pieces skill. Truly this helps out all players, but as a striker trainer, you have the opportunity to train this skill while others are training stamina in the offseason. This will also boost the sale price.
