IT problem
I hope somebody here can help me. It looks like I have downloaded a program I really don’t want on my pc. When I browse the web some very un-wanted pages suddenly show up (different pages every time). I have tried to find the program that make this happen without any luck. My anti-virus program also comes up empty.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction. |

Search for ad-aware.

Install, update, and run adaware and spybot (if you haven't already). In these cases they will almsot always eliminate such problems. If they don't, I am at a loss.

Wow, I can see now that I have been really naive trusting my antivirus program to take care of everything. I have downloaded adware and it found a lot of "bad" files.
It looks like it solved all my problems. Thanks Groundhog and astralhaze. You probably just saved me a lot of time and money as I planed to turn the PC in for service. |
