Help with MS Excel
Real quick like.
I'm trying to figure out how to find an average $$$ amount out of about 200 seperate figures. The thing is they are not all in a row. They are all in seperate areas in the spreadsheet. Like say an average of the numbers in G10:G69 AND G113:G210 AND etc... How would I go about doing this? I have tried a couple different ways and I just keep getting error messages. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Just set up the forumula from the function list
=AVG( or is it =AVERAGE( then using the Ctrl button, just highlight all of the cells you want averaged. Excel will provide the right notation. Just don't forget the end parenth. Last edited by Buccaneer : 02-06-2004 at 05:33 PM. |

Thanks. Aparently I was just entering too many "Arguements". However I was able to find a way to work around it.
