well since no one started it up....

i'll be playing the Lemon Squeezers of DIV.34 and i think i stand a decent chance against them

here are their ratings for this past week

Code:
The Lemon Squeezers Player rating and Team formation Team Attitude: (Hidden) Tactic: Attack on wings Tactic skill: formidable Midfield: passable Right Side Defence: magnificent Central Defence: outstanding Left Side Defence: magnificent Right Side Attack: brilliant Central Attack: formidable Left Side Attack: excellent

and here are my ratings from this past week

Code:
S. Boston Hooligans Player rating and Team formation Team Attitude: Normal Tactic: Normal Tactic skill: (Unlimited) Midfield: solid Right Side Defence: brilliant Central Defence: brilliant Left Side Defence: brilliant Right Side Attack: outstanding Central Attack: outstanding Left Side Attack: passable

fairly even... i still have to decide if i want to go with one winger TM as i did today or if i should set him on offensive and take a slight midfield bump, but push my left side attack up to around formidable

should be a very entertaining match and if i do win i'll be an a tough series... if i lose i'm stuck in a really tough DV series once again

IV.3's #6 team:
HIFers
Midfield: weak
Right Side Defence: passable
Central Defence: outstanding
Left Side Defence: outstanding
Right Side Attack: excellent
Central Attack: formidable
Left Side Attack: solid

Da Bees:
Midfield: outstanding
Right Side Defence: outstanding
Central Defence: brilliant
Left Side Defence: magnificent
Right Side Attack: formidable
Central Attack: formidable
Left Side Attack: formidable

According to these ratings, even with an irritated TS, we should be ok. We won't put up another outstanding midfield, but we'll put up at least solid, myabe excellent.

IV.3 looks to be a litle tougher than average, with 3 80+ teams, but not too bad.

I will be playing...

Los Argentos (of V.157)

Midfield: passable
Right Side Defence: excellent
Central Defence: solid
Left Side Defence: passable
Right Side Attack: solid
Central Attack: excellent
Left Side Attack: solid

that looks to be his best rating by far. I should crush this kid as I have high TS and just bought a new striker .. I'll be shooting for 100+ rating.

We should have a 100+ rating club.. lol

I guess this was my last rating.. I changed everything around though so I'd tie lytic

Fockers (4-5-1)
Player rating and Team formation
Team Attitude: Play it Cool
Tactic: Pressing
Tactic skill: inadequate

Midfield: outstanding
Right Side Defence: supernatural
Central Defence: mythical
Left Side Defence: supernatural
Right Side Attack: wretched
Central Attack: poor
Left Side Attack: poor

playing to go up to III, I'll be playing this team...

Bridgeburners
Player rating and Team formation
Team Attitude:(Hidden)
Tactic:Counter-attacks
Tactic skill:passable
Midfield:passable
Right Side Defence:outstanding
Central Defence:outstanding
Left Side Defence:brilliant
Right Side Attack:formidable
Central Attack:formidable
Left Side Attack:passable

This was is last game of the season, an away game, which I assume he PICed, and use C/A...

That was his home game the week before...
Bridgeburners
Player rating and Team formation
Team Attitude:(Hidden)
Tactic:Counter-attacks
Tactic skill:passable
Midfield:excellent
Right Side Defence:formidable
Central Defence:outstanding
Left Side Defence:outstanding
Right Side Attack:outstanding
Central Attack:formidable
Left Side Attack:excellent

Here's my last game, an away game, just like the qualifier will be...
Cerio's Dragons FC
Player rating and Team formation
Team Attitude:Play it Cool
Tactic:Normal
Tactic skill:(Unlimited)
Midfield:excellent
Right Side Defence:formidable
Central Defence:excellent
Left Side Defence:excellent
Right Side Attack:inadequate
Central Attack:formidable
Left Side Attack:outstanding

I PICed that game, so I'd assume I could get at least a formidable midfield, although this may be in danger since my offensive centreback extraordinaire is out, suspended because of 3 yellows... I will also be without another defender, a solid defender with solid experience, also out with 3 yellows... Interesting challenge, but I'll be coming out with the guns blazing

I'll be playing the Killer Bees of V.132 to go up:

last night's game (road): (he played 3-5-2)

Team Attitude: (Hidden)
Tactic: Normal
Tactic skill: (Unlimited)

Midfield: poor
Right Side Defence: passable
Central Defence: passable
Left Side Defence: passable
Right Side Attack: solid
Central Attack: passable
Left Side Attack: solid

last home game: (he played 4-5-1)

Team Attitude: (Hidden)
Tactic: Normal
Tactic skill: (Unlimited)

Midfield: weak
Right Side Defence: solid
Central Defence: excellent
Left Side Defence: solid
Right Side Attack: inadequate
Central Attack: weak
Left Side Attack: passable

My ratings from last night's game were my all-time high and I PIC'd, too:

Team Attitude: Play it Cool
Tactic: Attack on wings
Tactic skill: excellent

Midfield: weak
Right Side Defence: passable
Central Defence: inadequate
Left Side Defence: passable
Right Side Attack: formidable
Central Attack: excellent
Left Side Attack: formidable

I made a mistake in fooling around with lineups and wound up with my Solid CD being my extra MF and my usual extra MF being my CD. They had identical form, stamina and PM ratings last night, so I doubt my MF rating would have been different, but I usually put up a Solid central defense with the right guy there.

The PIC brought my TS all the way to Calm--LOL, but a MOTs should make me at least even in MF. I may go all-out on attack and play my CD as offensive in order to take advantage of his Passable PM.

I think my formidable and excellent attacks should carry the day if I can be at least even in midfield.

It looks like I've drawn a fellow FOFC'er in deadrabbitsfc, with new team name Green Country. And, I'm pretty sure I'd have this one in the bag, after all, I just put up an 80 NSI last week and he puts up upper 50s-low 60s. However, there's a little thing I can't get past: he just sold a couple of players AND HAS $5M IN THE BANK! So, I guess we can just throw out the previous ratings and it's time for the Hungry, Hungry Hippos to start fortifying for the assault on the 'drome.

Looks like I have to play the Denver Babylonians of VI.474 to avoid demotion. Doh! I'm Tar Heel United in V.245.

I'm still figuring stuff out, maybethat'll be easier to do in Div 6 if I lose, so oh well

Good luck, to you, too, both! Win or loss, let's try not to injure anyone

Oh, and some "friendly" advice- don't feel the need to spend all of that cash at once. I mean, you wouldn't want to spend without tracking the market for at least, say, one week, to make sure you don't make any hasty moves

Looks like im playing Vorpal Bunnies (71671) From IV.30 for promotion. The team appears to be unowned but still putting up high 60's-low 70 ratings. Looks like they do have some decent valued players and would be a better team if they had an owner. I'll be MOTSing them. Wish me luck.

The lineup should be reset soon as ownerless teams are now reset after the weeks 1,8,and 14.

Rest meaning with new players ? (Bad players) or reset with same players just a new lineup ??

No, meaning that for a team without an owner, it will revert to an automatic walkover lineup...

I have scouted my opponent a little more and darn, I can take them... They posted an outstanding midfield twice this season, but I one got a brilliant on a normal at home. This game will be a MOTS away from home... What may really make it tough is the two suspended players... I also scouted the league I'd end up in, III.5 and they just inherited a walkover team, the Arsenal PSX team, so I would only have to gain one position in that league to remain out of autodemotion...

On the other hand, the two teams coming up from V in my current league are baaaad. One bot, that would be replaced but still crappy until midseason, and a very bad human controlled team, my preferred kind, the kind with a semiclueless owner who is just participating enough not to be replaced by a tougher one

So, if I win, I see a chance in III.5, and if I lose, IV.18 should still be very winnable for me next season, and I get the extra training this week. A win/win situation for me!
