TCY: Players leaving early?

Hey. This question is concerning my "Five Great Players" dynasty thread over in that forum. What I am doing is following five of the highest recruited players throughout their recruiting process, into the college world and all the way to the pros. The five guys are in their red-shirt freshman years and we have a pretty good one on our hands. RB Tommy Sherwood is doing pretty good for the Stanford Cardinal.

My question is, how often do players leave early in TCY? This was brought up by one of the followers of the dynasty who mentioned that he will probably leave early.

There were two guys from the National Champion Georgia Bulldogs who were both Juniors and finished #1 and #3 for the Heisman and neither left for the league.

Is this aspect of the game pretty realistic? Could he leave after his sophomore year or is it very unlikely? He is an academic guy so would that have any impact on his wanting to stay in college at a good institution like Stanford?

In most of my dynasties I have few to no players leave early, with the exception of a few guys that leave due to lack of playing time. This may be somewhat dependent on the difficulty setting you're playing on, and the player's happiness ratings may also play a factor.

That said, I can't remember the last time I had a player leave early due to outstanding performance and/or talent.

Yeah, the only guys that ever leave early for me have academic problems.

Yeah I think that more players should leave early, but I doubt that will get adjusted since TCY is basically a "finished product" at this point.
