Question Give FB carries in multi-player?

Is there a trick to getting your FB carries? I set all offensive scenarios to FB Run = 40... which is supposed to be maximum. But they never are given the ball except in, I think, cases where they have a special designation (like goal line runner). Is this a known bug?

thanks!

Make sure that the formations that you are running and that your QB knows are two back formations. Your FB may simply not be on the field a lot.

If you really want to make sure that he gets the ball a lot, you can go into the personell by formation screens and put him in the tailback position in some formations. Experiment with it in SP and see what gives him a lot of carries and what does not.

What albionmoonlight said.

As far as I can tell, it's all about the formations & specific personnel settings when it comes to getting the FB any significant number of carries.

The AI seems to love single-back & 3/4 WR formations & the recommends always seem to include a heavy percentage of those regardless of the talent level of your FB's & TE's relative to RB's & WR's.
