I know you're not in Norway, though I think you will probably want to watch out the rest of the day:

Watch your wrist!

A new study has resulted in a very specialized warning to the citizens of Norway's capital. According to research at Ullevaal University Hospital, March 3 is the day in the year that one is most likely to break a wrist in Oslo, newspaper Dagbladet reports.

Doctor Frede Frihagen at the Orthopedic wing at Ullevaal University Hospital is one of the physicians behind the new study of bone fractures and believes that seasonal warnings akin to those for pollen content should be issued regularly.

"Now that we finally have data that shows that weather and driving conditions greatly influence how many break their wrist, we can make more specific warnings," Frihagen told Dagbladet.

The study revealed that the number of broken wrists registered at the Oslo emergency ward in the survey year summer 1998-1999 was ten times higher than the rest of the year.

The summer average for broken wrists in Oslo was 2.2 per day during the study, and rose to 4.5 per day in the winter months November-March.

HAHAH.
Wow. I wonder what causes the increased average...maybe slipping on ice?

Yeah, I should definitely be careful, thanks for the heads up.
