OT-Lucasarts cancels Sam & Max
Lucasarts is really losing it. I was looking forward to this game and so were a lot of other people. If you've never played the original, it's a great little game. I guess Lucas is kissing the adventure game goodbye.

Beat me to posting this.
Read this last night. This sucks big time. I was really looking forward to this one. Not sure what Lucasarts is doing, but after Full Throttle and this, I'm beginning to really wonder. "You crack me up little buddy." |

I've always been meaning to ask, does anyone know why they cancelled Full Throttle 2? I was really looking forward to that.

From what I read they were basically turning the game into Road Rash if you'll remember that one. Really leaving out the story and adventure from the original. Man, it really does seem like they're giving up on adventure games. Maybe they'll work on a Monkey Island sequel and get things rolling again. |

Very saddened to hear about the cancellation of the Sam and Max sequel. I even preordered Armed and Dangerous just to get the original Sam and Max game, so I can be prepared for any in-jokes to the first. |
