a true "goal line" back in FOF

It always seems there is something that makes me go "wow, that's awesome" during every season I FOF I play. This season I noticed that Minnesota had a true "goal line" back. Just like in real life it was Moe Williams. Here are the stats:

Michael Bennett: 16gp 16gs 219 att 1166 yds 9td

Moe Williams: 16gp 0gs 154 att 65 yds 12td (led league)

Does this lead anyone to believe that there is a way to make a guy an actual "goal line" back in a game plan or do you think it was just that Williams was getting carries and happened to score on 12 of them? Also, just wondering if anyone has been able to make a game plan where their guy does serve as a goal line back.

I'm guessing he was listed as the back in "short yardage" situations.

That's interesting. I've had some really outstanding fullbacks listed as the back in short yardage but they never get over 5 TD's. I wonder if it makes a difference if you but RB in there instead.

You could probably set him as the short yardage back and ten verify he was the guy being used as the primary runner in the goalline formation.

Yeah, I've got a guy who is 90+ in breakaway speed and power inside and under 30 in everything else. He's my short yardage back and has 4 TDs in 6 games (my starting RB and FB combined have 4). The other RBs get TDs from 3+ yards out, but once I'm on the goal line he's the one powering up the middle.

If your short yardage back isn't getting all the TDs, it may simply be that your starter is good enough to pound it in from 4 yards out. You may simply not be getting goal line situations.

If not, I think it's farily safe to assume he must have been a goal-line back.
