Good deal, but an unpredictable middy with Wretched D is gonna cost you some goals along the way.

it is low, but not completely unjustified... 20 yo still with disastrous experience, no secondaries to speak of, and he's a controversial w/passable leadership...

That being said, he's got what it takes to contribute to the midfield rating, excellent stamina

I don't think it's a bad buy. How many stars was he fetching on his old team?

Nice buy.

should be good for 3.5 as an inner mid.

AE, his owner may have seen him as too old to be trainable, but he needed some midfield help for the time being I know I did that with my last trainee to pop to formidable. He was excellent, at 21, and I had no plans of training him long term, didn't really need the money right away, so I played him at WTM for the 3-4 weeks where I needed a boost to my midfield. It worked as I won 3 games and tied one in that stretch, or something like that

The team looked like it was training-PM.
He went out and spent $990k on him less than 6 weeks ago.
So at the least, he's got Formid+2 or 3.

I don't really get what that owner was doing either.
Smells like a failed experiment.

As I said, he have been bought for need. I also once used a 24yo excellent PM, whom I had no plans of training up to formidable, as a WTM and then sold him when after about 4 or 5 weeks. He was then excellent +2 or +3...

The fact he sold him for a loss is kinda stoopid though...

I recently spent way too much on a 17 year old excellent winger.

Ugh...Unpredictable with Wretched defense...not so much. Nava, my stud IM, is the same way (but I think he's poor defense), and in 30+ matches, he only has ONE goal because of the unpredictable specialty. It seems that in ANY close match, it's because of him that we lose or tie, too.

Otherwise...great buy

I train keeper, so defense, not so important. The specialty, well, I don't really consider specialties much, so again, not so important.

Thankyou all for you validation. I believe it was a good deal, and that he'll help my team.

Please, feel free to bolster my thoughts on this matter, however.
Yes, I am insecure about spending $$ in HT.
