Poker odds
Ok math guys, out of curiosity, what are the odds of starting with 444 twice in a row in 7 card stud? It just happened to me in a tournament. I thought I was going crazy. Has to be pretty astronomical, right?

Hmmm, I may be wrong, but what you do is take the odds of it happening once (whatever that is) and then square it.
So if it's 1 in 855 (just picking a random number), then the odds of it happening twice in a wrong would be 1 in 855^2. That's how I think you get the odds anyway.... |

Im getting a number in the 30 millions when I square 5525, which is the probability of any one set of trips according to Super System. Is that accurate?

Did you have a side bet that called it? Now that would be some impressive odds!
