 Arriving on DVD in the original full-screen format, audio will be presented in both the original English Mono, and also with a Dolby 5.0 remix. There are going to be three releases: The Richard Pryor Show - Volume 1 117 minutes, $14.99 SRP, 2 Deleted Scenes with Robin Williams, Alternate "Cold" Opening. The Richard Pryor Show - Volume 2 114 minutes, $14.99 SRP, Hilarious Never-Before-Seen Outtakes and Improvs, Q&A Segment with Richard Pryor. The Richard Pryor Show - Box Set 288 minutes, $29.99 SRP, Featuring a Bonus 57-Minute The Richard Pryor Special! The bonus DVD also includes outrageous bonus material: Rarely Seen 27-minute Richard Pryor Monologue, 42-Minute Roast Segment with Outtakes, DVD-Rom Scripts for Unfilmed Scenes including "Gay Nightmare" and "From Television City, Hollywood - Whitey for a Day". It sounds like the Box Set is the way to go, with it's bonus disc chock-filled with goodies, including the special which led the network to give Pryor his own show. Good news! Pryor is one of my all time faves! The other day I was DVD shopping and I found a Richard Pryor boxed set. At first I thought it was a complete DVD set of all his standup but it ended up that someone had placed the audio boxed set with the movies. The Richard Pryor Show was pretty risque for its time, it should be a blast to watch again!
