Tucker, just curious, how old is this multimillionaire, how did he make his dough and does he live in Hawaii, or is this like his vacation home?

I'm working too. In my final spring break as a student, though, two years ago, I spent the entire week working as a grip on the department's spring film project. Every year, the UNO drama and communications department shoots an entire film (about 30 minutes long) over spring break, and students fill most of the crew positions. I spent about 70 hours on the set and on location that week, and I did it all for one hour of class credit. I'm sure it's not many people's idea of a fun spring break, but I learned a lot, and I have some good memories of it.

Of course, I still haven't seen the film yet, even though its first screening was 10 months ago. For the past two or three weeks, there's been a copy of the film waiting for me in the department's office, but I haven't had time to go pick it up yet.

But I digest.

I don't even have a spring break this year. It would be the first week of April if I were still in high school, but now I'm on the damn quarter system which = Last week of March: Finals.
First week of April: New quarter starts.

Blacky's there now...maybe he is.

Actually, I've been meaning to ask Blacky (if he ever comes around any more) - how do you like Florida so far?

Hey Shorty, stop by Tally on your way...I'll take you to the Leon Sinks. It's a series of depressions and potholes in the ground with a collective IQ equal to that of Leon Spinks, its namesake.

In passing, if you ever catch some of the old MTV sping break in daytona shows you may catch a glimpse of ol' Fritz dancing.

My brother just got back from Kauai. I haven't been there since 1980, but my parents have a timeshare there and we're planning a trip (without the kids) maybe in two years.

Enjoy!

I'm heading to California to my old hometown. It's about a 12 hours drive there from here (phx, AZ).

Tucker,

You're just another member of the economy of privilege. You and your parents (as well as your dad's multimillionaire friend) should be donating that money to the hard working middle class who've been hurt by President Bush's damaging economic policies.

if you run that through a sarcasm translator, by the way, that comes out to "Have fun in Hawaii. Don't get sunburned."

Yeah...Oklahoma vs. Hawaii for a getaway/vacation? Though, I would never live in Hawaii full-time. Great vacation/hideway spot, but never want to live their. Honestly, I rather spend a vacation in Mexico then Hawaii. I think Mexico's coastal areas as stunning.
