OT: sports handicapping books
I'm looking for a decent read or two about sports handicapping, mainly for the four major sports*. i'm not the biggest of gamblers, but i find it fascinating, and would like to research various gambling techniques and strategies, etc. anyone know of a good read? thanks.
*edit: four major = AMERICAN four major sports. none of that hooligan soccer nonsense... Last edited by bryce : 03-12-2004 at 02:15 PM. |

Normally, I'd think that you really want an answer to that question, but based on your original soccer comment in this thread, that simply sounds like a jab. ![]()

don't get me wrong, i love to play soccer.... (or at least i DID, until the indoor game tore my ACL to high holy hell.) but, watching the sport is another matter, in my opinion. unless it's world cup action - that's greatness. but the kc wiz or whatever vs the chicago fire or some such? not so much... (although i am a little intrigued about this fredddy adu clown - i may just have to go to a burn game to see this dude when he comes thru dallas...) |

It's a shame that the Kansas City team had to change its name from the Wiz to the Wizards. I loved the first-season MLS matchup between Kansas City and Dallas.
"Stay tuned for the MLS match between the Wiz and Burn."
