1st round draft pick
What happens if I don't sign my first round draft pick? It was a weak year this year and I'm having cap problems. He's sort of hacking me off with his demands (Yes I should have drafted better). If I don't sign him, will he just become a free agent?

I don't seem to be getting many 'boom' players with my 1st round picks. I get those with low volatility, and high solecismic ratings...but nothing close to 'franchise player' status.
I wouldn't quite say my 1st round picks have been busts either - they seem to be above average in regards to most. Perhaps it's my coaching staff that I need to re-evaluate...
